Gender Equity, Safety & Social Justice

This domain focuses on women’s rights, safety, and empowerment within social, economic, and institutional frameworks. Civic Policy Forum analyses laws, policies, and programmes affecting women’s participation, mobility, employment, and access to justice.

We place strong emphasis on intersectional perspectives, recognising how gender interacts with class, caste, geography, and other identities. Our research seeks to inform gender-responsive policymaking that promotes safety, dignity, and equal opportunities for women in public and private spaces.
